this piece of shit is just that, a PIECE OF SHIT. don't get me wrong, i have continued to endure it's uselessness because i would like to do my part it the landfill crisis. it also seemed like an ingenius idea in comparison to the brita pitcher. i put forth large efforts to install the bitch - had to purchase a "different" wrench to pry apart my kitchen faucet, etc. - as you can see, i was determined and for good reason, this seemed like a solution to multiple problems...well let this be my warning to you, it has NOT been a solution quite yet. i admit, maybe i got a defective one, which is entirely possible. maybe i deserve the defective one, because i am obviously too lazy to return the thing and hope for better results the second go around. my main problem, you ask? in a nutshell, it is slower than molasses. i am serious, it is a slow drizzle that sounds like someone struggling to piss in every glass i fill up, which by the way takes about 5 minutes. i can't imagine trying to fill an entire pot of water! i know, i have brought this upon myself, but there you have it...consumer report for the day :)

Did yo usoak the filter before installation and then let it run for 15-30 minutes after?
